Sydney will be a big sister... to a sister! :)

We had a great ultrasound on Friday, and are happy to let you know that a baby girl is on-the-way! She was very active during the whole exam, so she is taking after Sydney already! We are very thankful and are amazed that we will get to meet her in person in about four months... gotta get busy getting things ready for this sweet girl! :) ... now to just pick out a name- we are thinking of sticking with the 'city name' theme and are torn between naming her London or Atlanta or Nashville. :)

Sydney's First Walk Down the Street Video

This weekend has been full of firsts as we have been getting ready for Sydney's 1st birthday tomorrow! We have her car seat turned around facing out, she is doing great on whole milk (started that on Saturday when the formula ran out), and she kicked off the weekend by walking on the sidewalk Friday evening with her walker for a long time. It was one of the coolest things we had ever seen, and we wanted you to get to see it, too! :)

Can't stay still!

Sydney has always been active - I remember describing her as such before she was born - but, wow, has she been exploring everything and everywhere that she can get to lately! She pulls herself up and travels as far as she can holding onto things and crawls on her knees on tile and army crawls on the carpet! :) She has crawled all the way up the stairs (with lots of supervision!) three times and has to be deterred from doing it more! Here are recent pictures of this active, happy girl! :)
